Gemmology Rocks Professional Fees – Trade 2026
Fair and consistent (always)
We think our fees should be fair (to both you and us!), consistent, simple and transparent.
We want to make our services affordable and accessible to all businesses who need us, regardless of their size, demographic or location.
Travel and accommodation (almost never)
We try our very best not to charge travel or accommodation fees for anyone in the UK or Ireland, why should you pay more because you’re not near us? We try and do business efficiently and absorb those costs so everyone gets equal access (unless we would lose money doing then the job, then we have a chat with you about how we make it work for both of us)
Giving back and helping with costs (regularly)
We regularly do pro bono work within the industry in the hopes it does good for all. We are happy to discuss how we can help your business if you really need our services but can’t currently afford our fees. We are also happy to have a conversation about how we might help if you are a charity, education provider or other establishment that provides support or services in some way to the industry, we know you, like us, also aren’t rolling in cash and just want to help!
Discounted service (not going to happen)
We deliver an exceptional service, and we cannot deliver that cheaply, you would then get a “cheap” service (think cheap shoes) and we don’t do that. If price rather than quality is your primary objective, we are not the business for you. We don’t do discounts, we just charge a fair price in the first place, so don’t embarrass either of us by asking!
What you get (that you can’t see)
All prices for are not just for the delivery time that you have, they include all the prep work, resources, our experience and the other support we give around that service. We simply can’t put on paper what it entails to give you the best experience, or what we bring or you’d run out of time reading! (*best thing to do is read our reviews, testimonials, or better yet have a chat with one of our clients who is similar to you).

For all new clients for development, training and consultancy in house, we recommend an initial half day “Discovery Session”. To meet your team, find out what the key business objectives are and how we can design your day to meet as much of them as possible, also to make sure everyone is getting what they need, based on their personality and starting point.
This is advised from our extensive experience, you will get the most out of your following days, time is not wasted on getting to know people, and staff are confident and happy, know us and are not wary about what is to come. However, this is not compulsory by any means, we just know what works best!

For all stone services, if you send multiple stones, your price will always be calculated at the rate that is cheapest for you. We are happy to provide estimates and quotes before doing any work, just send us some images of what you have and what you need doing.
